At last, Mark’s one. Similar to Whisky sour. Maybe today I’ll get drunk.
Ingredients: Bourbon, energetic drink, lemon, salt, caffeine, a red twizzler, ice.
Steps: First the rimming: I used little caffeine balls and salt (like in margaritas, it’s perfect for lemon) and juice as glue. Energetic drink and bourbon (50/50) + 1 lemon juice to the cocktail shaker. Shake it up, baby, now! Pour on the rocks.
Glass: Old fashioned.
Decoration: Red twizzler. No straw in order to taste salt as you drink it.
Notes: No sugar. Really. Not necessary. It’s not as hard as I imagined. Bourbon is sweeter than ordinary whisky and energetic drinks are veeery sweet. Similar sweet/salted contrast like in margarita (again) but with the caffeine bitter last taste. Brands I used: Four roses, Burn (Mark will probably use Red Bull) and Durvitan.
Remember this is Mark’s one, not Parker’s: no coke, no narcotics, just caffeine or other soft stimulant pills ;-)
