GAGE-TONIC
Gage’s one. Gin-tonic variation without tonic (but I keep the name). It has to be blue not just for Facebook, for his veeery blue eyes. At first I think something like Electric lemonade, but the man is old, still gorgeous but yeah, old, you know it, I know it, so I need something white for the cocktail to honour his white hair :)
Ingredients: Gin, blue curaçao, horchata (I think you call it the same way in English, is this thing from Valencia, I love it), white sugar, mini-oreo, ice.
Steps: All but the oreo to the cocktail shaker: gin (40%), blue curaçao (30%), horchata (30%), sugar and ice. Shake and serve.
Glass: Old fashioned (he’s a man, not a boy xD)
Decoration: Mini-oreo in the border. If he ask me any condescendient question, I will answer him it’s because he’s an important part of my childhood.
Notes: I used Bombay Sapphire and Chufi.
It’s not a secret I don’t like gin. Too hard for me. Tastes like cologne. I always say it’s an alcohol for old people (appropriate this time) and some of my friends stare at me as if they want to kill me xD
But this time horchata kills a lot the gin flavour and my sweet-girly palate can drink it. Even though still strong, probably my second strongest one after the Snake Parker.
This is the last one of the weekend ‘cause I’m not gonna lie, I’m already a bit intoxicated ;-)
